Does this sound familiar?
You have a role. Now make it your own.
You may have just joined the family business, started leading a team, or begun exploring a new venture within it. You do not have to wait for a formal succession to develop your own approach to leadership.

Understand the expectations, then choose one thing to move forward.
01 / Direction
You want your own direction. The business still needs you.
Is a new opportunity worth pursuing? How can you explore it while meeting your current responsibilities?
Map it out together
Map your goals, business needs, and available resources. Design a small test with clear limits.
02 / Business conversations
You know your product. Make the business conversation clearer.
You can explain the product and technology, but may be less sure what customers care about or who makes the decision.
Practice together
Practice discovery questions, explaining value, and follow-ups that lead to a clear next step.
03 / Team
You delegate the work. It keeps coming back to you.
You keep handling the same issues. You want to delegate but worry about the outcome.
Work through the details
Clarify responsibilities, completion standards, and decision authority so the team knows when to act and when to involve you.
04 / Change
You see a need for change. Help your family and team understand it.
How do you explain the reasoning, risks, and support you need for a new idea?
Prepare together
Shape the idea into a focused proposal. Rehearse different perspectives and how you could respond.
Start with a real challenge
Turn “I'm not sure” into options you can discuss.
These fictional teaching examples illustrate the approach. They are not client stories or promised results.
“I want to explore an AI business without taking on fixed costs too soon.”
01
Examine the idea
Who would you serve? Why is this opportunity worth your time?
02
Identify what is missing
Would customers pay? What can your current team deliver?
03
Keep the test small
Interview one customer group, identify one need, and assess a limited pilot.
04
Set decision criteria
What evidence would justify continuing? When should you pause and review the investment?
Leave with a one-page validation planOpen questions → Next action → Investment limits → Review date
“Every small decision comes back to me. I have no time to think ahead.”
01
Choose a recurring task
What keeps coming back to you? Reconstruct one recent example.
02
Find the bottleneck
Is the gap information, skills, authority, or agreement on what good work looks like?
03
Rehearse the handoff
Explain the expected outcome, decisions the person can make, and when to ask for help.
04
Review what happened
Did you still need to step in? Adjust responsibilities and support based on what happened.

Sessions are available in Mandarin, Cantonese, or English. Duration, fees, materials, and follow-up are confirmed before booking. On AT, mention “Career counseling / Next-generation business leaders.”
Is this suitable before formally taking over?
Yes, if you are already involved in the business, leading a team, or exploring a new venture and want to clarify your role. Start with one current responsibility.
How is this different from startup coaching?
We start with your role, judgment, and communication as a business leader. More focused work on products, customers, or business models can extend into startup coaching.
Will you make decisions or run the business for me?
No. This is personal development through discussion and practice. You and the relevant business leaders make the decisions. Business management and comprehensive succession governance are outside the scope.
Do I have to use AI?
No. AI is an optional practice tool. Use anonymized or fictional materials; you do not need to upload confidential business information.
Does every session include a full report and follow-up?
Materials, practice, and follow-up reviews depend on the agreed scope. Unlimited revisions and on-demand support are not included. We confirm the most useful deliverables before booking.
